Hey there, human,
As we approach 100 Days of The Daily Divergent, I feel myself hitting The Wall.
If you don’t know what I mean by The Wall, no, I’m not talking about Pink Floyd.
The Wall is a phenomenon I first heard from marathon runners.
It’s a way to describe the feeling you get before you want to quit something—usually around the 20-mile mark for runners.
I used to confuse The Wall as burnout, but I know now that it’s a normal part of the process.
That mentality alone helps me heaps, but because I also know nothing is one and done, my mindset alone doesn’t stop me from quitting things.
Can you relate?
If so, here are two sayings I repeat to myself near-daily.
The 2 Sayings That Keep Me Going
1. “I’d rather be weak and doing something than strong and doing nothing.”
This saying is actually from me!
I couldn’t decide whether to put the new one first or last, so I just decided.
That’s the power of these sayings in action.
Sometimes, there is no best answer.
Sometimes, the best answer is any answer.
